This wall-mounted folding seat extends across the bathtub, functioning as a bench and measuring 32" L x 13.5" W, making it suitable for most standard-size Alcove bathtubs with flat dam surfaces. It is not recommended for use with free-standing tubs.
Crafted from a sturdy #304 stainless steel frame and durable, water-resistant ½" thick white phenolic 3-inch slats, the tub seat supports up to 250 pounds, satisfying all ADA code requirements when properly installed. The tub frame is lined with rubber to protect against contact with the tub surfaces.
The seat easily folds up and is automatically held in a raised position 3" against the wall by a stainless-steel friction hinge bracket. This friction hinge bracket is engineered to provide a smooth, consistent resistance when raising and lowering the seat, preventing it from slamming against the bathtub.
The Seachrome Hermosa Tub Seat is designed to provide safety, security, and independence for the elderly and physically disabled while showering at home. The tub seat color is available in teak, white, and grey to complement a wide range of bathroom décor styles.
