The grab bar measures 39-inches long and 19-5/8-inches wide, with 36-inch mounting centers. It has a 1-1/4-inch diameter and is made of 18-gauge stainless steel. The package includes 6 - 2-1/2-inch 10 stainless steel mounting screws, and Seachrome recommends mounting the bar into 2 solid wood in-wall backing.
This grab bar mounts to the back wall of a tub and swings outward when in use, then locks securely against the wall when not needed. It is designed to support up to 250 pounds when properly installed.
